Known as a traditional sandwich which people love to enjoy on a picnic as well as while traveling. It can be prepared a day in advance and is easy to make with very few ingredients. Ingredients required are bread, cucumber, and cheese or butter. Additions can also be made as per the preference like adding a slice of boiled egg or tomato.

Hard-Boiled Eggs

A hard-boiled egg can be easily carried in tiffin. They can help you in taking the daily requirement of protein and are quite filling as well. I would recommend peeling them the night before as it will only save you time.

Mixed Nuts

You can easily pack different varieties of nuts mixed together. They can also be bought from stores as they are readily available. Mixed nuts are great for long trips as well because they are filled with fiber which keeps your blood sugar level in control and protein keeps the hunger down.
